Finding you proficiency level is the first step. It is important to know exactly where you are on your language journey so we can recommend the most appropriate course or academic pathway for you.
The Language Academy placement test comprises three parts:
- A multiple-choice section covering a variety of grammatical and lexical content
- A relevant writing task (General English, IELTS, C1 Advanced etc.)
- An interview by appointment or conducted via Zoom for those offshore
The multiple-choice and writing sections take 30 minutes each. The duration of the interview is around 15 minutes, and this often takes place after the other sections have been graded.ย Your results, as well as academic guidance and course recommendations, are discussed on the same day with our academic manager.
