Attendance Requirement
Although students will have 25 hours of classes per week, all students must attend classes for a minimum of 20 hours per week to meet the requirements stipulated in their student visa. More information about conditions attached to student visas can be accessed from:
Please ensure that you follow the requirements listed below:
- Your attendance needs to beย over 80%ย during any study period (12 weeks)
- Please let the teacher know if you intend to miss class on a specific day
- Consecutive unexplained absences will result in a warning letter and disciplinary meeting the the Academic Manager
- If you are absent due to illness, you must provide a medical certificate
- If your attendance drops below 75%, you will be given a warning letter and you will also be required to have a mandatory meeting with the Academic Manager to discuss the reasons for your absence. During this meeting you will be given some ideas to improve your attendance as well as you will be reminded of your attendance compliance to meet your Student Visa conditions
