Terms and Conditions (LOTE)

Please familiarise yourself with our terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply only to students enrolling in a LOTE (Language Other Than English) Course which includes: Spanish, Mandarin, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Portuguese.

Full course payment is due at least 7 days prior to the course commencement date. No placement confirmation will be provided until payment is received.
The Language Academy reserves the right to change the course commencement date. Any changes will be communicated by email or phone.
The Language Academy is not responsible for ‘make-up classes’ if you miss any. You may arrange a Private Lesson at your expense to cover missed classes; please contact us for more information.
Course fees are non-refundable for change of mind, personal reasons, etc.
You may defer up to 6 months, but after that, all fees will be forfeited. Deferrals must be confirmed at least 2 weeks before the course start date.
In the unlikely event that The Language Academy is unable to run a course, a full refund will be provided within two weeks of the cancelled course date.
The minimum age for enrolling in LOTE group classes is 17 years.
