TLA The Little Mates offers a fun and enriching educational adventure with engaging ESL classes, creative workshops, thrilling excursions, and hands-on project-based learning. Our program nurtures language skills, cultural awareness, and personal development, inspiring young learners to explore, create, and grow.
Overview
The Little Mates Program by The Language Academy offers an interactive and dynamic ESL learning experience for children aged 6 to 14. Designed around weekly focused topics, set projects, and an outdoor learning approach, the program encourages learning by doing in the vibrant and natural surroundings of the Gold Coast.
Students stay engaged with meaningful project-based learning (PBL) activities, presenting their completed projects to parents at the end of each week. Parents and chaperones are invited to be part of this unique learning journey, attending project presentations and joining exciting optional weekend excursions.

Outdoor Learning: Afternoon activities take learning outdoors, using the Gold Coastโs natural surroundings to create real-world, engaging, and fun educational experiences.
Focused Weekly Topics: Each week combines a specific theme with outdoor activities, workshops, and a final project presentation to keep students motivated.
Project-Based Learning (PBL): Students work on weekly projects that foster teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking, culminating in a special showcase for parents that builds confidence and presentation skills.
Parents and Chaperones Included:
- Parents join the weekly project presentations to celebrate their childโs progress.
- Optional weekend excursions are also open for parents, fostering shared experiences.
Dynamic and Fun Learning: Students learn English naturally through hands-on activities, outdoor exploration, and cultural experiences in the stunning Gold Coast environment.
