๐ What do you like most about studying at The Language Academy?
โถ โThe thing I like most is the friendly and professional staff. Theyโre always there to help me and guide me through every step I take. I felt very welcomed from the moment I stepped foot in the Academy for the first time until the moment I left. I especially love that all the staff have a passion for teaching and the delivery of the course with less than 10 students per class is the best for practicing my English.โ
๐ Tell us what a day in the classroom looks like? What activities do you find useful?
โถ โFirst I have a cup of tea [laughing]. Depending if its Monday or not, we talk about what weโve done the day before, or what happened during weekend, then we talk about a bit of everything we have learned before starting a new topic. Actually, because I like talking, I would say itโs my strength. I spend a lot of time talking, itโs the best way I can learn. [The teachers] find the best way to teach you, and because I had a one-on-one lesson, it was really nice to build the relationship.โ
๐ What has improved the most while studying English?
โถ “Definitely my speaking, my accent has improved a lot! (laughing)”
๐ What has been your biggest challenge while studying English?
โถ โBiggest Challenge was the speaking. I didnโt like to speak in front of big groups but due to the small classes I was able to speak more freely and practice a lot more than usual”
๐ What has been one of your favourite things to do on the Gold Coast?
โถ โDefinitely going to the beach and also hanging out with my new friends at the Academy from all over the world!โ
๐ What piece of advice would you give to students considering studying in Australia?
โถ โThe best piece of advice that I give is that you shouldnโt be scared to learn, come to The Language Academy where you will feel welcomed and have lots of fun!โ
