The Language Academy is taking the recent outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) very seriously.
All staff at The Language Academy are observing and monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely. We have in place a policy and procedure if one of our staff members or students were to become infected, or if our campus was to be directly impacted by the COVID-19 virus. The Language Academy has, and will follow, guidelines and advice from medical professionals, government departments and the World Health Organisation (WHO).
At this time difficult time, The Language Academy is operating as usual. However, if an outbreak were to directly affect our campus, The Language Academy will notify all current and future students as well as agents, and we will update our website.
We understand the concerns of students who may face uncertain travel bans and restrictions. The Australian Government has imposed travel restrictions. Please visit the Smart Traveller website, and the Department of Home Affairs website for the latest updates.
We understand that this has been very difficult for students, staff and the community affected, and it is of upmost priority that all our staff, students and The Language Academy community as a whole are healthy.
Please note that any student who will be arriving from overseas and studying at The Language Academy must adhere to, and take advice from, the Australian Government’s travel policies, procedures and regulations.
The Language Academy recommends that all staff, current and future students should protect themselves by practicing good hygiene practices.
The Language Academy will continue to monitor all verified sources of information to provide a cautious and considered response to future students and the developing situation both in Australia and around the world.
The Language Academy is still welcoming students from many parts of the world. However, if you feel uneasy about the situation here in Australia, please give us a call or send us an email.
